AROMA: earthy- musky- herbaceous characteristic of the plant.

The healing properties of Angelica, is said to have been revealed to a Monk by an Angel hence its name. Used in high-grade perfumes for musk-like notes, which are hard to define. Also used in high grade Liqueurs.
Angelica is a biennial plant, a member of the Umbelliferae family, which flowers in its second year and can grow to a height in excess of 8 feet. The leaves are large, ferny and glossy dark green. The flowers are white and appear in umbels. The plant prefers a moist, loamy soil, and grown on the rich fenland soil the plants produce this oil, which is of exceptional quality.
