Fragrance Inspiration:
Inspired by the exquisite roasting techniques of Japanese hojicha. Hojicha is roasted using relatively mature tea leaves and stems, gradually increasing the temperature to 200°C through precise step-by-step temperature control. Tempered by the flames, the tea leaves transform into a deep brown, losing their astringency and exuding a unique smoky, burnt aroma and warm, nutty flavour. ATELIER AROMA is fascinated by this artistic fusion of fire and tea, and aim to transport you to the fragrant roasting scene through our aroma, allowing you to experience the power and warmth of this beautiful experience.
Olfactory Notes:
Top Note: Hojicha - Upon contact with skin, the purest and most authentic aroma of hojicha washes over you. This is not a refreshing green tea, but the essence of tea, with its intense smokiness, slightly bitter burnt notes, and warm, toasted aroma. It's like placing freshly roasted hojicha leaves before your nose, a powerful impact that instantly captures your attention.
Middle Note: Agarwood - As the fiery smokiness subsides, a deep, mellow, and slightly cooling agarwood note emerges. This blends seamlessly with the smokiness of hojicha, intensifying the fragrance's depth and ritualistic tranquility, as if smoke lingering within ancient wood, adding a touch of mystery and luxury.
Base Note: Vetiver - The fragrance's base notes ultimately return to the earth.
